Ottawa police are investigating after several establishments were robbed over the weekend.
At 3:30 a.m. Friday, a man robbed the Esso gas station in the 3500 block of Strandherd Road of cash. The suspect is a white male, in his mid-20s, five-foot-six to five-foot-eight with a stocky build and short hair.
Forty-five minutes later, a male armed with a gun robbed the Food Frenz convenience store in the 2900 block of Carling Avenue of cash. The suspect in this incident is described as a black male, five-foot-nine to five-foot-10.
Then at 8:30 p.m., two males armed with knives entered the Rogers Video store in Barrhaven where they duct-taped the clerk.
Police arrested three youth a short distance away.
There were no injuries in any of the incidents.
