At one not-so glorious time, no-shave November was just a collection of hockey beards for college students not fond of their razors.
But this past year we were graced with one of the best Movembers in memory, with pro athletes, celebrities and yes, your college bros all giving their facial hair some excellent landscaping. And it wasn’t just hair grown in vein — these snazzy facial dos were adorned in order to raise awareness for men’s health issues. A grown up version of no-shave November if you will.
“Movember will get men to grow mustaches and the community to support them by creating an innovative, fun and engaging annual Movember campaign,” the us.movember.com website states.
So as we mourn the loss of these mustaches (and thank those raising awareness and contributing to mens health organizations) lets take a look at some of Metro’s favorites from the past 30 days.
