Tips pour in on Merritt

RCMP have received 75 tips, including 25 in the past day, about possible sightings of Allan Schoenborn, the suspect in the murder of his three children in Merritt.
Tips have come from across Western Canada and RCMP Const. Annie Linteau said all are being actively investigated.
The town held a community meeting yesterday to provide information to residents as students returned to the school the Schoenborn children attended.
Diamond Vale Elementary School is being guarded by RCMP officers and four security guards, but the parents of 23 students kept their children home, CBC News Online reports.
The bodies of Kaitlynne, 10, Max, 8, and Cordon, 5, were found by their mother, Darcie Clarke, on Sunday. Their father had been watching them while she ran errands.
A friend of their mother said Clarke fled to Merritt from Vancouver last September to escape Schoenborn.
