TLC cancels ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’

​​ “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” TLC’s popular reality show about a pint size beauty pageant contestant and her family, has been canceled. TMZ broke the news . And no, it’s not because the show’s ratings were down. After rumors circulated that family matriarch Mama June reunited with her ex boyfriend, a convicted child molester, TLC immediately canceled the show. TMZ also reports that the show had filmed an entire new season of material, which they will not air. Vulture has a statement from the network, which reads as follows:

TLC has cancelled the series HERE COMES HONEY BOO BOO and ended all activities around the series, effective immediately. Supporting the health and welfare of these remarkable children is our only priority. TLC is faithfully committed to the children’s ongoing comfort and well-being.

Mama June denied the allegations that she was involved with ex Scott McDaniel, who just completed a ten year prison sentence, in a video post to her Facebook page , saying she would never do anything to harm her children.
