Questions remain as to whether or not Broncos receiver Wes Welker will play against his old team Sunday night after suffering a concussion against Kansas City.
Welker’s old quarterback, Tom Brady, is one who has no doubt about his status for this weekend’s mega-showdown, however.
“I’ve been around [Welker] long enough to know what he’s all about,” Brady told WEEI this week. “He loves playing football and if there’s a chance for him to play, especially coming back here, he’s definitely going to be out there. I’ve got no question about that.”
Welker did not practice with the Broncos Wednesday.
