Tom Brady, Tim Tebow and Bill Belichick tackle the Aaron Hernandez questions

God how I wish the laughs came this easy on this blog with the lot of devil-worshippers that read this section.

Pastor Bob in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., told a doozy of a joke at the height of Tebow Mania that seems quite relevant today, considering the Patriots are about to open a training camp that will have questions centered around hell, heaven, Earth, and how in God’s name are they going to compete with Aaron Dobson as their best receiver?

It begins Wednesday at 1:45 p.m. with Bill Belichick “answering” questions about Aaron Hernandez. While many vehemently disagree on whether or not Belichick owes it to people to discuss Hernandez; already forgotten is Tom Brady’s lack of answers yesterday to Peter King regarding the situation. But Brady will get a pass because people (the media) like Brady. Belichick will not get a pass because people (the media) hate Belichick.

The next go-to-guy on the Hernandez situation is of course Tim Tebow, who is busy trying to save his NFL career. The Patriots will either hide Tebow from the media (which they’ve been known to do quite well with players when they want to) or they will use Tebow as a mouthpiece on the entire situation going forward.

It will certainly be interesting to see how the Patriots handle the dreaded news media (who routinely stumble their way across the sports landscape) in the next few days as well. The Patriots surely don’t want things to get too grim. Brady has already “moved on,” even to the point that a new Funny or Die Dick’s sporting goods commercial popped up.

The laughs won’t come easy in Foxboro this week for certain. Where’s Pastor Bob when you need him?
