It was a scary weekend for two seminal rappers.
On Friday, Rick Ross reportedly suffered a seizure while aboard a Delta flight en route from Fort Lauderdale, Fl. to a Memphis, Tenn. performance. The airplane made an emergency landing back in Fort Lauderdale, Ross went to the hospital, and then was checked out. He was healthy enough to post a video to his Twitter account stating that he was ready to continue with his plans to perform in Memphis. But then a second scare in the air (this time on a private plane) forced another emergency landing in Birmingham, Ala. Ross then canceled his Friday night Memphis show and his scheduled appearance at North Carolina A&T’s homecoming concert in Greensboro, N.C. on Saturday night. Further information on Ross’ condition has not yet been released.
And on Saturday, Tone Loc collapsed on stage during a concert in Atlanta. His manager told TMZ.com the reason for the collapse was because of exhaustion. But scarily enough, the gossip site claims they received e-mails saying Loc collapsed after suffering a seizure.
