NEW YORK – Dwayne De Rosario, Toronto FC’s captain and one-man scoring machine, is the MLS player of the week.
The 31-year-old from Toronto scored one goal and set up the other in Toronto’s 2-0 win over the visiting Seattle Sounders on Sunday.
De Rosario has scored five of TFC’s six goals this season and ranks second in the league in goal-scoring.
This is De Rosario’s fifth career Player of the Week award. The weekly honours are chosen by a panel from the North American Soccer Reporters.
