Four up-until-now confidential studies on the viability of a new trade centre in downtown Halifax will be released Friday.
The anti-convention centre group Save the View filed freedom of information requests for the studies but what they got back was mostly redacted.
Transportation Minister Bill Estabrooks later told his staff to look into releasing the uncensored studies.
Staff said Thursday they were readying those for release the next day.
The main document is a convention centre business case by the firm Deloitte, but three other studies have also been done.
The province will decide in July whether to fund the 1.4-million-square-foot facility estimated to cost between $300 million and $350 million.
