A Dorchester man is due in court Monday after leading a Transit Police officer on a foot chase Friday at South Station, police said.

Eddie Divas, 18, allegedly threatened another man with a knife around 8 p.m. at the station’s bus terminal, police said.

When the officer approached Divas, he ran down one of the commuter rail track.

The officer chased Divas and, with help from another officer, arrested him. Divas was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
