Jennifer Aniston

Actors Aaron Eckhart and Jennifer Aniston are both in town to film Traveling, a romantic drama about a widower (Eckhart) whose book about coping with loss turns him into a best-selling self-help guru who then falls for a woman (Aniston) attending one of his seminars — only to realize that he hasn’t yet truly confronted his wife’s passing. Both celebs have been spotted around town in recent days.

Eckhart drew attention last Friday night while dining with two friends at Browns Social House in Yaletown; allegedly receiving admiring glances from the female patrons.

Meanwhile, Aniston was seen dining at two different eating establishments last week: The former Friends star was at Cioppino’s in Yaletown and had dinner with a dark haired man — though we’re told there was nothing romantic afoot — and additionally supped at Brix Restaurant and Wine Bar with a couple of female friends, ordering roast chicken from the menu.

Ashton Kutcher

Saturday morning, also at Brix, but before opening hours, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore visited outside in the courtyard with one of the staff member’s Pug puppies. Kutcher is in town shooting Personal Effects opposite Michelle Pfeiffer. The film is based upon Rick Moody’s story Mansion On The Hill, and concerns the adventures of a man, Andrew Wakefield, who tries to come to terms with his sister’s death after she was killed in a car accident just prior to her wedding.

For all you “I Am Canadian” beer fans out there, J. John Sleeman, owner of the famous Canadian brewery Sleeman’s — and great, great grandson of the founder, John Sleeman — feasted on steaks and, what else, Sleeman beer, at Pinkys Steakhouse and Cocktail Lounge in Yaletown last Wednesday night.

Finally, Transformers babe Megan Fox is scheduled to hit Vancouver in March, when she stars in Jennifer’s Body, Fox Atomic’s comedic horror film about a cheerleader who is possessed by a demon and starts feeding off the boys in a Minnesota farming town. The project is from the Juno writing and directing team of Diablo Cody and Jason Reitman.
