Trio wanted in pipe attack on Bronx street: NYPD

Police are looking for a group of young men they say violently attacked a victim in the Bronx earlier this week after getting into an argument.

On May 17 at 9 a.m. the 43-year-old victim got into a verbal quarrel with the three suspects by 927 East 174th St., according to authorities.

One of the suspects then allegedly hit the victim in the head with a pipe causing him to fall to the ground, police said. Once the man was on the ground, the two other suspects then began to punch him on his body.

The three suspects — each described to be between 16 and 20 years old — ran away in an unknown direction, cops said.

The victim was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital for medical treatment.

Police said the first suspect is described to be a black man last seen wearing a black t-shirt with stripes — which he removed during the fight — camouflage pants and sneakers.

The second suspect is a Hispanic man with long hair possibly in braids or a ponytail, cops said. He was last seen wearing a long sleeve t-shirt and walks with a severe limp.

The final suspect is described as a black man.
