“How can you make a difference?” That’s the question Liberal MP Justin Trudeau asked 225 advanced-placement social-studies students Thursday at St. Francis High School.
Trudeau, MP for the riding of Papineau in Quebec, spoke to high school students about the future of the country.
“You’re not the leaders of tomorrow. We don’t need you to be the leaders of tomorrow. We need you to be the leaders of today,” said Trudeau.
Student Ana Villrreal was impressed by Trudeau because she said he didn’t speak to them like a “bunch of kids.”
“He made it seem as though we were the ones with the important opinions,” she said.
