“Partners”
Polar opposite best friend business partners Joe (David Krumholtz), who is straight, and Louis (Michael Urie), who is gay, bicker about work and life, but can’t imagine even a day spent without the other. Their relationship becomes even more complicated when Joe proposes to his girlfriend (Sophia Bush). It’s your standard odd-couple sitcom, this one relying quasi-edgy jokes.

“The Mob Doctor”
Jordana Spiro (“My Boys”) plays Grace Devlin, a promising Chicago doctor who moonlights for the mob — just in case that wasn’t clear from the title. She splits her time between saving lives at a prestigious hospital and stitching up goons in dirty back rooms, thanks to her brother’s debt to the mafia. Grace is painted a little too hard-nosed, but a heightened portrait of Chicago’s underbelly is always fun to watch.

“Catfish: The TV Show”
Based on the documentary “Catfish,” this TV spinoff follows couples who have fallen in love online and chronicles their first in-person meetings. The encounters — involving some parties who may not have been entirely truthful in their online correspondence — promise to be awkward, if not somewhat exploitative.
