“The Layover”

REALITY. Outspoken chef Anthony Bourdain’s final commitment to the Travel Channel (“No Reservations” has already wrapped, and his new CNN series is in the works) comes right after he blew up at network executives for making it appear as if the host were endorsing Cadillac in his show. As the final season of his other Travel Channel show, the travel highlights series “The Layover,” kicks off in Chicago tonight, it’s safe to say he’s probably no longer going to be getting that engraved gold watch.

Season premiere, 9 p.m., Travel Channel

“Marrying The Game”

REALITY. Straight-laced schoolteacher Tiffney Cambridge plans her dream wedding to the father of her two children, Jayceon Taylor — aka the rapper The Game. See how quickly that went from a run-of-the-mill episode of TLC’s “A Wedding Story” to a standalone VH1 series?

Series premiere, 9:30 p.m., VH1

“I Love the 1880s”

COMEDY. Without a single Madonna reference in sight, this ’80s look-back really looks back, retracing some of the most pivotal and surprising moments in American history through the eyes of modern-day talking head comedians.

11 p.m., History Channel
