This year’s honorees are Tom Hanks, Al Green, Sting, Lily Tomlin and Patricia McBride, and if those names don’t tempt you into watching, perhaps you’d like to see Lady Gaga or Jennifer Hudson perform? Garrison Keillor, Steven Spielberg and Meryl Streep will all be presenting.

Lyla’s mom comes to town, which is an important plot development because she’s played by Bernadette Peters! More Bernadette Peters on our TV shows, please. Oh, and Phoebe tells the others about how she’s in a polyamorous relationship.

Top employees start to get hired away from Mansfield. Brody sees this as an opportunity to hopefully get his job back, while Derrick and Jenny try to convince Harvard to date Lindsay.
