Metro’s Tuesday night TV breakdown.
‘The Daily Show’
LATE NIGHT. Tonight’s guest is actor-turned screamo lead singer-turned actor again Jared Leto (who stars as a transexual living with AIDS in “Dallas Buyers Club”). Jared Leto is the prettiest man in showbiz, and that is no joke, but he doesn’t seem like brightest bulb in the crayon box’s tool shed, if you know what we mean. His convo with Stewart should be good.
11 p.m., COMEDY
‘Shahs of Sunset’
REALITY. The drama can’t stop won’t stop on this addictively terrible reality show about rich and idle young (and some not so, MJ is 40 something!) Persian-Americans living in L.A. and doing for Persian-Americans what the cast of “Jersey Shore” did for Italian-Americans before them. Read: nothing great. Tonight, Mike brings the gang to a gay club. Mike’s not gay, but we’re guessing, with his looks, he’ll do quite well there.
10 p.m., BRAVO
MOVIE. ABC Family’s ‘25 Days of Christmas’ marches on with this modern take on Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” starring the inimitable Bill Murray as a slimy TV exec who needs some ghostly help getting down with the true meaning of Christmas. It’s a good one.
