Metro’s Tuesday night TV breakdown.

‘Fear Fest’
SCARY MOVIES. Only two more days until Halloween! AMC’s month-long horror movie marathon continues on with Jason flicks all evening. Perhaps the schlockiest of them all, “Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan,” transplants the hockey masked killer to the Big Apple, where he machetes a bunch of teens on a school trip.
5:45 p.m., AMC

‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’
SCARY MOVIE. Oh, how we long for the days when Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr., Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ryan Phillippe all starred in movies together — and were still young enough to play teens. In one of the best (“best” being used loosely here) of that era, they star as teens who accidentally hit a man with their car and are subsequently stalked by a mysterious killer in a fisherman’s poncho and galoshes. Scary!
9 p.m., ABCFAM

‘The Roommate’
SCARY MOVIE. You can’t change the channel tonight without coming across a horror flick. This one is a rather lackluster take on the excellent 1992 thriller “Single White Female,” set in a college dorm instead of a NYC apartment building. But it stars Blaire Waldorf (excuse us, Leighton Meester)as the creepo title roommate, so there’s that.
