One large drug bust led authorities to an even bigger one earlier this week in connection to an illegal marijuana operation in Brooklyn that nets $10 million per year.
On March Wednesday, investigators saw two men picking up a container from ABF Freight, located at 414 Maspeth Ave., according to authorities. The duo then loaded the container into a truck and drove it to 234 Java St. Upon further investigation, police found that the vehicle contained about 300 pounds of marijuana, cops said.

A search warrant was obtained for 234 Java St. on Thursday, where police found about 100 pounds of marijuana, 1,100 packed containers of retail-ready marijuana, mushrooms, liquid THC, liquid PCP and liquid HGH — all totaling a street value of about $2.5 million, according to police. Authorities say they also found about $100,000 in cash and a .22-caliber North American Arms revolver.
Members of the NYPD’s Criminal Enterprise Investigations Unit and Homeland Security arrested 36-year-old Philip Feng and 35-year-old Victor Bae and charged each of them with criminal sale of marijuana, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
