Two people in their 20s are facing charges after a hit-and-run accident in Dartmouth last night.
An off-duty police officer witnessed a Honda Del Sol strike a parked car and flee the scene on Highfield Park Drive shortly before 8 p.m.
A loaded 25-calibre handgun was thrown from the vehicle during pursuit.
The male, 25, and female, 24, were taken into custody on Brule Street and they face driving and weapons charges and leaving the scene of an accident.
