Halloween costumes are great, but what if an entire restaurant got in character?

Greenpoint’s Alameda on Franklin Street is turning into Bob’s Burgers from the Fox cartoon about a family-run burger joint, switching up its usual dishes of elevated American fare for an exclusively burgers-and-fries menu. (Linda will be happy to hear that the usual cocktails will also be served.)

Expect to see the Belchers as well as staff dressed in “sexy burger costumes” serving six kinds ofpun-tastic burgers. Get there at 5 p.m. on Halloween night to experience it all.

Meanwhile, Astoria’s William Hallet bar has already decorated, though the party doesn’t start until 8 p.m. on Halloween. Co-owner Craig Davis tells DNA Info that the interior will be done up in Bob’s Burgers styleas well, with specials like the I’ve Created a Muenster (topped with the cheese) and The Final Kraut Down (sauerkraut, of course). There will also be a costume contest and drink specials.

Looking for more themed Halloween fun? Will Ferrell-themed bar Stay Classy New York is holding a “Talladega Nights”-themed party tonight. They’ve gotten so busy that the event is RSVP only; if you want in, send an email with your name and preferred time slot to info@stayclassynewyork.com.
