New Englanders: Want to sharpen your skills in defending Tom Brady?

You’re in luck, the University of New Hampshire is again this year offering a three-week online class exploring Deflategate and the issues that surrounded it last year.

The class, taught by UNH Law faculty member and Sports Illustrated legal analyst Michael McCann, costs $139 and runs from Sept. 12 to 30.

“The nationally publicized ‘Deflategate’ case illustrates the power struggle that results when sports and law collide,” the course’s description reads.

“This online noncredit course…will introduce you to the role the legal system plays in sports, relevant practices and applications in the field, and the journalistic methods used to fuel a scandal that has dominated the professional sports landscape since January of 2015.”

Students will spend the time watching video lectures, reading primary documents related to the case and interacting in discussion threads with the professor and fellow classmates.

There won’t be any grade inflation, though: Sorry kids, but the course is non-credit.
