A young child died after he fell from a Dorchester building Wednesday morning.
Police were called to 131 Columbia Road just before 10 a.m., according to a Boston police spokeswoman.
A 2-year-old boy feel from a window, the police spokeswoman said. Police investigators could be seen standing on the roof of the building as they investigated the incident.
The boy was rushed to Boston Medical Center where he later died, according to police.
