Update: As of 1:45 p.m. all lanes on Route 1 and Route 60 in Revere were open and the scene was clear.
A serious car crash in Revere in which a driver on one roadway was ejected onto another shut down part of Route 60 Thursday afternoon.
State police troopers were called to the crash near Route 1 and Route 60 just after noon, police said.
State police said a driver traveling along Route 1 northbound somehow crashed and was ejected from the car. He landed on Route 60 and is suffering from serious injuries, police said.
Because of the crash, Route 60 westbound was being diverted onto Route 1.
