Vancouver parking fifth priciest in Canada

Vancouver drivers pay $266.81 —- about $42 more than the national average —- for monthly parking, the lowest amount of Canada’s largest five cities.

Calgary has the most expensive parking at $453.38 per month, according to a study by Collier’s International that focused on lots in prime central business districts.

Jim Grimard said yesterday he’s seen Vancouver parking rates rise.

“Today, I parked at Waterfront for an hour and a half and it cost $19. Years ago that would have gotten you half a day!”

London, England is the most expensive city in the world to park at $980 per month.
