Victoria Beckham has come under fire from PETA for using crocodile and lizard skin and calf leather in her new line of handbags, but the fashionista isn’t taking the criticism lying down.
Everyone is entitled to personal opinion and choice, but as with all Victoria Beckham products, the handbags are made to the highest quality and design,” a rep for her line says, according to Hollyscoop.
“These skins sit strictly within the (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) regulations, and are monitored at every step of production. The skins are farmed in America under very tight guidelines.”
