“The Voice” just returned, and it’s already making some news: Anthony Riley, a street performer from Philadelphia, scored the fastest four chair turnaround in “Voice” history, as moments into his rendition of the James Brown classic “I Got You (I Feel Good),” Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and Pharrell spun their chairs around to try and claim him. This isn’t Riley’s first moment in the news. Back in 2007, he was arrested for disorderly conduct after he sang Sam Cooke songs in Rittenhouse Square. The charges were eventually dismissed, though Riley spent a night in jail, and he won a lawsuit over the arrest. And then went on to be named 2014’s best street performer by Philadelphia magazine. Catch his big performance below.
