Boston Police have relaunched its news website – BPDnews.com – after it was hacked in to and shut down by the group Anonymous.
And the relaunch features a video that shows BPD found a humorous side to the incident.
The tongue-in-cheek video shows interviews with high-ranking officers and their reactions to learning that that site had been hacked.
“Normally I sleep pretty well, but since the site went down I haven’t slept a wink,” said one officer.
Police have said that federal authorities are looking in to the online attack.
Anonymous posted a video and message on the police website last week that said it was retaliating for the breaking down of Occupy Boston’s Dewey Square camp.
