Police are on the trail of a man suspected of robbing three Midtown stores, smashing glass windows to break into two of them.
According to the NYPD, the suspect first hit the Duane Reade at 184 5th Ave. on November 15. He was captured on surveillance video stealing several items, including cigarettes and DVDs.
Cops said the same man stole merchandise from the AT&T store at 1099 Broadway after he smashed a glass window and broke in at 3:30 a.m. on Nov. 26.
The man is also suspected of smashing the glass front door and stealing clothes from the Lucky Brand store at 172 5th Ave. at 3:30 a.m. on Nov. 28.
