VIDEO: Nunchuck-wielding thugs attack man for jacket

Three teens assaulted a 25-year-old man Sunday afternoon at the West 157 Street subway station in Washington Heights.

The assailants approached the victim on the mezzanine of the station and told him they liked his jacket and wanted it.

They beat and kicked him and when he resisted, one of the suspects began to beat him with a pair of nunchucks.

The victim was able to escape through the turnstile and was treated at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and released with lacerations to his head.

The suspects are between 17 and 19 years old, Hispanic and each about 5-foot-7 or -8 and 150 pounds. One wore a grey jacket and yellow and burgundy baseball cap; the second wore a grey jacket and green baseball cap; the third wore a black t-shirt and black-and-grey checkered scarf.
