TMZ has acquired footage showing Atlanta Hawks guard Thabo Sefolosha being arrested outside a New York City nightclub early Thursday morning.
It looks like the police throw Sefolosha to the ground before arresting him.
According to reports, Sefolosha and teammate Pero Antic were arrested for failing to leave the scene after the stabbing incident involving Indiana Pacers forward Chris Copeland.
Deadspin reports Sefolosha fractured his tibia as a result of the confrontation with the police and will miss the remainder of the season.
ESPN confirms with this tweet:

It’s unclear to see why the alleged excessive force was used to Sefolosha because the video isn’t very clear, but with so much happening around the country involving police brutality, this is another incident that raises an eybrow at how situations are handled by the police.
