Police are looking for a man caught on surveillance video early Wednesday morning following a woman he allegedly later attempted to rape.
On June 8 at about 4:45 a.m. the suspect followed the 51-year-old victim along 121st Street near 23rd Avenue before approaching her from behind, according to authorities.
The man then told the woman he had a gun and that he was going to rape her, police said.
RELATED:Two attackers sought after attempted rape near Prospect Park He then allegedly dragged the victim into the backyard of a residential building where the woman fought him off and yelled for help. The man then ran away southbound on 121st Street.
Authorities describe the suspect as a Hispanic man between 23 and 25 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 180 pounds. He has a tattoo of a cross and Jesus on his right arm, and was last seen wearing a white tank top, dark colored jeans and yellow work boots.
