Video shows great white shark busting through diving cage

It was like a reboot of the scene in “Jaws” where Robert Shaw’s Quint says, “Cage goes in the water, you go in the water. Shark’s in the water.”

Except in this case, the shark’s actually in the cage, albeit briefly.

Moments after a great white shark is seen biting tuna off a line in a video posted on the “Gabe and Garrett” YouTube channel, another one breaks through one of the metal diving cages attached to a boat.

The shark then swims off through the top of the cage that someone on board opened during the melee, and soon after, a diver emerges completely unharmed.

The video, which has more than 1.4 million views since it was uploaded Thursday, was posted by the father of the channel namesakes and is from his recent trip to Guadalupe Island 241 miles off the west coast of Mexico.
