Zuccotti Park remains empty and barricaded this afternoon after the NYPD evicted the OWS protesters at 1 a.m. last night.
The battle over whether protesters can return to the park with their tents and tarps is right now being fought in the courts.
Judge Lucy Billings said the protesters can return with tents, a ruling
the city disagrees with, but a new judge has been appointed to review
her decision. Metro reporter Alison Bowen is in the courtroom of
