Apparently, the Russian Army has a thing for 1990s pop songs.
There's a video floating around the Web showing a Russian drill sargeant leading his troops in a marching exercise while singing the cheesy 1990's pop hit "Barbie Girl."
The video was posted to YouTube with the title "Humor in the Russian Army" with the idea to show people that you can have fun while fighting for your country.

We're not exactly sure why that song was chosen. Maybe the Russian army has a thing for Danish pop culture from the 1990s.
