VIRAL VIDEO: Rap song soothes crying baby

If you’re wondering why the same old lullabies and nursery songs are not doing any good at calming down your crying baby, you just might have to turn to rap music.

When Uncle Lionel attempts to comfort his baby niece Lena, he first tries to play the classic children’s song “Wheel’s On The Bus,” but Lena can’t seem to get into it and she cries more.

When he switches to California rapperO.T. Genasis’ song “CoCo,” Lena switches gears and calms down significantly.

We’re not exactly sure why the song had such a calming effect on Lena, but some will argue that most songs on the top 40 lists these days sound like lullabies anyway.
