France-based illustrator Yoann Hervo created a crazy tribute to “The Simpsons” famous intro and it’s unlike anything you’ve seen before.
With the help of fellow artist Hugo Moreno, sound designer Florian Calm and musician Valentin Ducloux, Hervo put together this VHS-quality rendition of the show’s intro that will keep you up at night. “This opening is just a small part of a collaboration project made up by Charles Huettner, Ivan Dixon and James Hatley. The original idea was to invite some animators to produce, in their own style, a short story in the Simpsons universe. Despite the fact that the project hasn’t been achieved, I wanted to finish what I started,” Hervo says in the video’s description on his YouTube channel.

The video was posted to YouTube yesterday and has gone viral with nearly 400,000 views in one day.
