Ch-ch-ch-changes to SVU include…

Michael Chernuchin is taking over as executive producer for SVU, replacing Rick Eid, who is taking over Chicago P.D., Cinema Blend reported.

A return by fan favorite Christopher Meloni, who left his role as Detective Elliot Stabler after Season 12, has not been announced.

“I have always said I would be open to it,” Meloni told ET. “Circumstances have to be right, that’s all.”

“It’s never been brought up to me. That’s the kind of question that’s kind of out of my hands,” he added.

Meloni and Mariska Hargitay have been teasing and pleasing fans by posting reunion pictures on social media.

“You know, we don’t live under a rock,” Meloni continued. “We do it one time and suddenly, you know, she called and she is like, ‘Do you believe what just happened?’ and I’m like, ‘Yeah, that is crazy.’ Now we do it just to see the reaction, [to] ring the bell.

“It is lovely [to still see the fan support]. I always kind of felt it and knew it. I knew how important it was to people, how much it meant to people. 12 years with your partner in crime, it is a long time.”

Friends at Xmas.
