Malcolm-Jamal Warner, currently in town in rehearsals for the Huntington Theater’s new production of “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner,” will be attending a screening of the classic 1967 film starring Sydney Poitier, Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn at the Strand Theater on August 27 in Dorchester.
He’ll stick around afterwards for a Q&A with the play’s director, David Esbjornson. The event is free and open to the public, but seats are available on a first come, first serve basis, so get out there early if you want to ensure you get in. Doors will open at 6:30 for a 7 p.m. screening. The theater has an RSVP link set up at huntingtontheatre.org/StrandRSVP, but RSVPing doesn’t guarantee a seat.
Try not to ask him too many questions about “The Cosby Show,” and check back here soon, because OBVIOUSLY we jumped on the chance to interview him.
