If you ever wanted to play a game of “worst case scenario” IRL, head to Winthrop Beach where they’ll be screening “Jaws” on the big screen. Guests are invited to attend the screening from the safety of the beach, or bring their own floatation device and watch from the murky depths. The screening, sponsored by the Friends of Winthrop Beach and Save the Harbor, is totally free and has garnered more than 4,500 RSVP-ed parties with over 22,000 interested on Facebook. Thousands of unsuspecting, tasty morsels floating in ocean in the middle of the night? Sounds like a Great White’s dream. But fret not. The most recent shark sighting in Massachusetts was this week in Martha’s Vineyard, so likely the scariest thing at this event will be trying to find parking. If you go:
