Tom vs Time

The last episode of Tom Brady’s Facebook series Tom vs Time finally hit the web on Monday afternoon.

Fans have been waiting for quite a while to see the show’s final installment, which was originally set to run shortly after the Super Bowl showdown between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles in February. However, since Brady and his team ended up falling short in the championship match-up, the episode was delayed in order for series creator Gotham Chopra to re-edit the video following the unexpected loss.

“In the end, the Patriots fan in me didn’t get the storybook ending I desperately craved for our series Tom vs Time,” Chopra said in a release. “But instead I got a moment in which our main hero – Tom – would learn something pretty valuable in the loss. Hard to lament too much about that.”

The clip, which you can check out below, takes viewers on a whirlwind ride through Brady’s journey in this year’s NFL playoffs, as well as offer fans a peek at how the quarterback, his wife Gisele Bundchen and their kids handled the devastating defeat in Minneapolis.

“It’s a process you got to deal with,” Brady told Strahan. “I think you realize that the sun comes up in the morning and life goes on, but those games live with you for the rest of your life.”

Brady also opened up to the ex-New York Giants star about his future in football. According to Strahan, Gisele once asked him at a dinner to talk to her husband, as Brady apparently kept saying he wanted to play 10 more years, even though he said the same thing five years prior.

“I wasn’t a great math student back then,” Brady joked. “She’s right. I did say that because when we met I was 29, 30 years old, and I thought, ‘Man, if I get to 40, it’d be amazing.'”

“It’s been such a great love for me,” he added. “I want to continue to do it as best I can because it really brings a lot of joy to my life.”
