Watertown Police seeking suspect in bank robbery

The Watertown Police have released surveillance images of a man who robbed the Citizens Bank branch in Stop & Shop on Pleasant Street on Sunday.

The man, sporting a winter hat, sunglasses, gym shorts and a winter jacket, walked into the bank and demanded cash. Police said the tellers gave him an undisclosed amount of money, and the suspect then hopped into a blue sedan. Another man drove the getaway car, which headed down Pleasant Street towards Waltham.

Police said the suspect is a white male with shaved face, 40-50 years old, about 6 feet and 180 pounds. He was wearing gold-framed aviators and a fur-lined winter hat with ear flaps.
