Welcome to Miami – Metro US

Welcome to Miami

I have lived in Miami most of my life. My family lives in Miami, and I also work in the family business, as the Vice President of Sales of RC aluminum. I’ve worked on some very exciting projects including the re-launch of the food and beverage department at the Delano Hotel, set to open on New Year’s Eve.

Miami is an international destination and one of the highlights of my work is being able to meet intriguing individuals from all over the world.

I thrive on the culture of Miami, and there’s much more to Miami than the weather!

First time?

Get a taste of authentic Cuban flavour. The best Cuban food in the world is right here in Miami. For the adventurous type, take a boat tour on the Everglades. Take a stroll around Coconut Grove and Lincoln Road, and HIT THE BEACH!

Stay in

I love the W Hotel South Beach. It has amazing views of the ocean from every room. The rooms are spacious and the decor is fantastically ’70s chic. I would stay there for the lobby’s art collection alone (wsouthbeach.com).

For decadence and impeccable service, stay at the Delano. It’s the best sleep you’ll ever have due to their comfortable beds and luxurious linens (delano-hotel.com).

Mix with locals at the Soho Beach House (sohobeachhouse.com).

Been there before?

Miami is one of the hottest destinations for up and coming artists. Art Basel Miami Beach is an incredible festival that takes place the first week of December and attracts international art lovers, collectors, sellers and celebrities. In March of every year, Miami Beach hosts the Winter Music Conference, one of the hottest music festivals in the world. (artbaselmiamibeach.com, wintermusicconference.com)

Eat

I love Asian food so I’ll go to Pubbelly, a great Asian style gastropub in Miami Beach (pubbelly.com). For a night out I’ll head to DB Bistro (danielnyc.com).
