Wendy Dickey: Mom thinks dressing toddler as tiny hooker is adorable

Typical things in a 3-year-old’s wardrobe: tiny stretch jeans, graphic tees with images of Disney characters, puffy snow suit.

Typical things in the wardrobe of Wendy Dickey’s 3-year-old: black thigh-high pleather boots, hideous blond wig, revealing mini dress.

Parents are notorious for dressing up their children in embarrassing outfits. It’s part of being a mom or a dad, right?

But did the “Toddlers and Tiaras” mom take it too far by transforming her daughter into Julia Roberts’ iconic prostitute character from “Pretty Woman?”

Something about the photo on the right says “yes.”

Dickey insists the pageant routine was harmless. She told TMZ that the tiny hooker outfit was “less revealing than gymnastics wear and swimsuits.”

Then why does looking at it make us feel much more uncomfortable than going to the beach or a gymnastics tournament? Oh yeah, because gymnasts and swimmers aren’t prostitutes.

In her defense, Dickey also says her daughter donned a costume epitomizing the reformed, post-hooker character, but TLC edited that out of the episode.

Dickey said, “I’m raising my child just as well as any mother does … I take my kid to church every week … at least I’m not forcing them into sports and getting my child injured like some parents.”

What in the world does this child wear to church?
