Despite a reputation for surliness, nine out of 10 New Yorkers say they’re either “happy” or “very happy,” according to the Municipal Art Society’s “Survey on Livability” released Thursday. Citywide, 84 percent described themselves as “satisfied” or “very satisfied.” Still, 24 percent of New Yorkers would like to leave the city.
