If you’re a freelancer or independent worker, you know how tough it can be to get motivated to work at home. Actually going somewhere designated as a “work space” forces you to be more productive and stay focused. But with more and more cafes refusing to offer Wifi, options can be limited.

With 26 locations worldwide and 14,000 members, WeWork is one of the most enviable rentable workspaces around, giving small businesses and independent workers not only a place to work and hold meetings, but also to connect with one another and grow their businesses.

While the spaces have everything an entrepreneur could want and more, membership is pretty pricey, making it hard for some independent workers to join. But today, WeWork announced a new membership they are offering, WeWork Commons, for $45 per month.

The new WeWork Commons membership allows members to work in the desks in the lounges and use the conference rooms at select locations in New York, Boston, D.C., San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle. They can also take advantage of the other services WeWork offers such as health insurance, Web posting, payroll, gym membership and more up to 50 percent below market rates.
