Every community has them; they’re the people, places, events and local wonders you can’t find anywhere else that put a smile on our faces and make us feel a bit more proud about where we live.
Today, as part of our SunnySide series, Metro is calling on the people of Vancouver to help us celebrate what makes living in our city so special: The people, places, events, architecture — you name it — that seem to take those worries away.
We want you to submit the names of the people and things that set Vancouver apart, and — especially in these trying economic times — do their part to make you feel good about being a Vancouverite.
Submit your suggestions on who and what deserve recognition, and we will share their inspiring stories with readers in our city, and with Metro’s 1.1 million readers across Canada.
