The 2016 Kentucky Derby will take place on Saturday, May 7 from Churchill Downs Race Track in Louisville, Kentucky. It is the first leg of horse racing’s Triple Crown.
The “big race” on Saturday is scheduled to start at 6:34 p.m. NBC Sports will broadcast the race. The coverage on the main network will begin at 4 p.m. and run until 7:30 p.m. NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) will have coverage on Saturday beginning at noon. A look at the field and odds:
