The New England Patriots and Denver Broncos will battle this Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, for the right to represent the AFC in Super Bowl 50.

Kickoff time for the AFC Championship game at Sports Authority Field at Mile Highis set for 3:05 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (1 p.m. Mountain Time in Denver).

The game will be broadcast on National TV on CBS, with Jim Nantz and Phil Simms providing the call.

The AFC title game will precede the NFC Championship game between the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals. That game is set to start at 6:40 p.m. Eastern.

Last year’s kickoff to the later conference championship game (Patriots – Colts) was pushed back to 6:50 p.m. as the NFC game (Seahawks – Packers) went into overtime.
