“Portlandia” airs Thursday.

COMEDY

‘Portlandia’

Jello Biafra plays an ’80s punk who comes out of a coma while Malcolm and Kris tailgate outside a live “Prairie Home Companion” show. Just reading that should provoke a chuckle or two. If not, don’t bother. There are special guests galore Thursday night.

IFC, 10 P.M.

SPORTS

‘NCAA Tournament’

Expect some upsets. It’s the second round and with top-ranking seeds playing the lowest, nothing is as thrilling as an underdog throwing everyone’s bracket out of whack. March Madness continues Thursday night on four channels.

4 P.M., NBC/TBS/TNT/truTV

COMEDY

‘Community’

Despite its stellar cast, this show continues to be hit or miss — mostly the latter. But with special guest David Cross and a game of “Dungeons & Dragons” planned, Thursday night’s show has the potential to be especially unruly… and nerdy. 8 P.M., NBC
